7:30 AM – Registration & Hot Breakfast
8:00 AM – Opening Remarks
8:30 AM – Alexander Manu, Senior Partner & Chief Imaginator, InnoSpa International Partners
“CURRENT MEDIA” - The challenge of digital media for marketing communications is simply this: digital media is not a channel. Mediums are not channels; they are modes of individual action. Digital media, combined with mobility on a variety of networked platforms, is a way of life in which everything becomes media for the individual empowerment to create, manage and distribute content. How can individuals in organizations cope with this challenge? By reexamining their understanding of human needs and reframing them as what they truly are: desire, wants, and visions of a better self. Provocative author, speaker and leader in the field of strategic foresight, Alexander Manu explains what motivates people and how desire is the driving force of the economy. Manu proposes that there is no “New Media”: there is only current media – the instruments and agents we use NOW to actualize ourselves. As people are continually transformed by the media they use, the thriving organization is the one that sees “change” as the constant while seeing “business” as the variable.
